Matt 10:40 “And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them aasleep, and saith unto Peter, What, bcould ye not watch with me one hour?”
 
Have you ever had someone fall asleep on you when you were trying to talk with them? I know I’ve felt like Christ as he asked His friends, “Are you so powerless that you could not stay awake with me?” Now the things I want to share when someone falls asleep are not at the same level as Christ’s experience. However, I have had people stay up with me as I have dealt with difficulty or questions. The love and support that comes is so rewarding. To miss that encouragement or solidarity can be crushing. Christ knew what it felt like to be surround by people, but to still feel alone.
